1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred spice level)

-
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
-
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.;

Add the diced potatoes to the pan, spreading them out in an even layer. Let them cook without stirring for about 5 minutes, allowing them to brown on one side.
-
Stir the potatoes and continue to cook for another 5 minutes until they are golden brown on all sides and tender.
-
Add the chopped beef jerky to the pan, along with the paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.
-
Cook the hash for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld and the beef jerky to heat through.
-
Remove the pan from the heat.
-
Garnish the Beef Jerky and Potato Hash with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
