Beef Jerky and Potato Hash Recipe

Serve this Beef Jerky and Potato Hash as a hearty breakfast or a satisfying main course for lunch or dinner.
It is a fantastic way to enjoy the smoky, meaty goodness of beef jerky in a comforting and filling meal!

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz Smoked Original Beef Jerky, thinly sliced and chopped

  • 3 medium potatoes, peeled and diced

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your preferred spice level)

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  • In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

  • Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pan. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions become translucent.;

  • Add the diced potatoes to the pan, spreading them out in an even layer. Let them cook without stirring for about 5 minutes, allowing them to brown on one side.

  • Stir the potatoes and continue to cook for another 5 minutes until they are golden brown on all sides and tender.

  • Add the chopped beef jerky to the pan, along with the paprika, cayenne pepper, dried thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir everything together until well combined.

  • Cook the hash for an additional 2-3 minutes to let the flavors meld and the beef jerky to heat through.

  • Remove the pan from the heat.

  • Garnish the Beef Jerky and Potato Hash with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
